1st grade coming soon [Sylvanian Families]

In Japan, parents buy their children a randoseru when they enter the first grade of elementary school. They use it to commute to and from school for six years.
They are often given as a gift from grandparents, and recently their prices have been rising. In the past, it was common for boys to have black randoseru and girls to have red randoseru, but with the rise of gender equality and diversity, colorful randoseru have become the norm.

However, what color is acceptable at age 6 is another matter, so you need to be a little careful when buying one.

Tsuchiya Kaban etc. is known for its durable, high-quality randoseru, but since randoseru can only be used during elementary school, it seems a waste to spend tens of thousands of yen on them.
As a Japanese person, I think that if randoseru were in a different form, they could be used even after graduating from elementary school, and would therefore be more cost-effective.

The Japanese products are quite expensive.
The textbooks in the school bag are quite heavy for a small child.

If you are buying it in Japan, lightweight versions are also available, so consider that.
